The International Program welcomes you to Canada. We can assist you in getting settled in Toronto, Ontario. You can enjoy the lifestyle Canadians enjoy every day - the seasons, the shopping, the food, and above all the friendliness of the city. We will treat you like family.
Canadians in Ontario lead an active life. We work hard and we play hard. And in Toronto, there is lots to do; go shopping at Eaton Center; see a movie at Silver City; and downtown Toronto offers a variety of multicultural events throughout the year in different parts of a very diverse city. There are also many museums and art galleries including The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) , Canada's largest museum and one of the top 10 in the world; SkyDome is home to the Toronto Argonauts football team and the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team (1992 and 1993 World Series Champions); And you will be hard-pressed to find a city full of more fans for Canada's #1 sport - Hockey! The Maple Leafs call The Air Canada Centre (or "The ACC") home, and so does Canada's only team for the NBA (Basketball), the Raptors. Toronto is also the place to find The CN Tower, to date the tallest free-standing structure in North America (2nd in the world next to the Burj Dubai), featuring a glass floor in the observation deck, a revolving restaurant, and a Simulator Theatre...... And this is just a taste of the tens of thousands of events, festivals, concerts (the biggest stars always tour through Toronto), shows, plays, restaurants, nightclubs, and lounges available to you when you need to take a break from studying.
The student is placed in a caring Canadian home environment, and becomes a part of the family for the duration of his / her stay. The student will have their own bedroom, as well as the use of the family areas in the home. They will receive 3 meals each day. Some students may be asked to prepare some of these meals themselves with food provided by the family. Disbursement of monthly homestay fees on student's behalf.
